Overview:

Nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS) are evolving, with new scientific studies and technical applications emerging. Advances in this field have been followed by improvements in the fabrication processes and measurement methods at the nanoscale. A broad spectrum of research directions are pursued, covering studies in fundamental physics (charge/spin transport, optomechanics, nanomechanics in its quantum ground state, etc.) and development of cutting-edge applications (flying qubit in superconducting NEMS, ultra-sensitive mass detectors, bio and chemical sensors, quantum information technology, and so on). This workshop brings together established researchers from all over the world working on physics and applications in nanoelectronics and nanomechanics, creating a unique opportunity to stimulate discussions on their most recent achievements and interact with researchers in the field at a higher level.

Topics include:

 Nanoelectromechanics
 Spin orbit interactions
 Spintromechanics
 Mesoscopic superconductors
 Nanomechanical qubits
 Optomechanics
 Biomechanics
 Graphene based NEMS
 NEMS based sensors
